Edward Lee Gorin, Sr., 79, of Piasa, passed away on Jan. 9, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony Health Center in Alton. He was born on Nov. 15, 1944 in Alton the son of the late Harry Gorin and Vivian (Hampton) Gorin. Ed married Alice Little on Feb. 18, 1963 in Rosewood Heights, Ill. and she survives.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force and Ed retired from GM in 1999. He was also known as the Rock N’ Roll Kid from Ed and Alice’s Rock N’ Roll Show from 1975 to 1985.
