Senior citizens meeting

On Dec. 21, the meeting was called to order by president Gerry Cook and with four visitors in attendance, the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were said by the 25 members in attendance.

Staunton’s senior citizens would like to thank all of the people who handed out some Christmas gifts and brought cookies for everyone to enjoy. There was also a card request for Bev Beyers.

Attendance prizes were won by Mary Reid and Linda Pike. The Pot of Silver prizes were won by Shirley Copeland and Toni Janus. Bingo was called by Leslie Vannoy and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy playing.
