Senior Citizens Meeting

Enjoy fellowship and bingo with the senior citizens of Staunton twice a month; on the first and third Thursdays.

The Nov. 16, meeting was called to order at 1 p.m. by president, Gerri Cook.

The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were recited and there were 24 members present. The meeting was short with no old or new business to discuss. We sang happy birthday to the birthday people for Nov.

The winners of the attendance prizes were Dennis Williams and Bernadette Bonavz. Nancy Johns and Linda Pike won the pots of silver. We then enjoyed playing bingo with bingo numbers being called by Leslie Vannoy, Executive Director of Cedarhurst Assisted Living and Memory Care in Bethalto.

Prior to the start of the meeting the members enjoyed our holiday luncheon. The next meeting will be on Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Christian Church located at 225 S. Laurel St., in Staunton.
