Even the flag in the back was at full-attention on Saturday, Nov. 11, for the Memorial Service that was held in front of Staunton's Veterans Memorial, located on Main Street.
It was a sunny but brisk day. The sun fooled the cold only for so long, however, the sun was gleaming during the memorial service; almost in a way that innately assured to all in attendance that all of our loved ones were smiling down on us. Local veterans gave a 21-gun salute to all who have and are serving.
