Notice is hereby given that I, L. Amber McGartland, Treasurer and Ex-Officio County Collector of MACOUPIN COUNTY, in the State of Illinois, will apply to the Circuit Court of said county at 2:00PM. on December 6, 2023, for Judgement against the lands and lots described in the foregoing list for the taxes, interest, and costs due and unpaid thereon for the year 2022 (and previous years) or any part thereof. Said lands and lots being situated in the county of MACOUPIN COUNTY, in the State of Illinois, as set forthin the foregoing list. Simultaneously, I will apply for an order to sell the taxes on the same lands and lots for the satisfaction of thereof, and for judgement fixing the correct amount of any tax paid under protest.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the first Monday succeeding application for judgement, said date being December 11, 2023, the taxes on all lands and lots in the foregoing list against which judgement shall have been pronounced and for sale of which an order shall have been made will be exposed for public sale at and in the office of County Treasurer, 201 E. Main P O Box 20, Carlinville, IL. The amount of sale being taxes, interest, and fees thereon. Said sale will commence at 10:00 a.m. on December 11, 2023.

Any persons wishing to purchase delinquent taxes at the tax sale must register with the County Collector ten (10) business days prior to the sale and submit a $250.00 registration fee to be used toward the purchases at the sale. A written registration is required. A copy of the delinquent parcels to be sold is available from the Collector for $100.00.
