Local owner places wreath in D.C.

John and Susie Galer, owners of The Staunton Star-Times in Staunton placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC, on Friday, Sept. 29. The Galers, at left, laid the wreath with Mike and Angie Fishman of Tennessee, as part of the National Newspaper Association Foundation convention in Washington, DC. John Galer is chairman of the National Newspaper Association and Fishman is president of the National Newspaper Association Foundation. The Galers were honored to be part of such a humbling ceremony.
