There are different types of ambition. The kind we must often see in contemporary culture is called “selfish ambition.” This is the desire for pursuit of power for oneself at any cost. Selfish ambition can cause us to sabotage our relationships and physical health to achieve our goals. We might also become threatened by the success of others, believing we appear as failures in comparison.

Now, for the other side of the coin. They say that the United States is in clear decline, that other nations are making moves to fill the power void, and Elon Musk wants humans on Mars...
