Yard Waste Burn Days

A reminder to local residents that yard waste burn days will change on Oct. 15. From Oct. 15 through Dec. 15, you are allowed to burn every day, however, this is strictly for yard waste only, no household trash. For the other ten months of the year, yard waste burn days are on Friday, Saturday and Monday.

The City of Staunton also operates a yard waste site out on LPT Road. The site is located on the south side of the soccer field.

Yard waste stickers are available at the City Clerk’s Office or the Staunton Police Department, and the cost of the sticker is $15.
