Melony L. Biver, 48, of Worden, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 29, at Community Hospital of Staunton. She was born on Oct. 22, 1974, in Alton to Bill Patton and Linda Lippoldt. On Oct. 14, 2000, she married Keith J. Biver at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon, and he survives.

Melony was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel. She graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1992. She later received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from SIUE.
