Blessings and pet services

On Sept. 16 (during the Flea Market) Pastor Debbie will be offering pet blessings from 9 to 10 a.m. for anyone interested. Dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers. Other pets are welcome but must be properly contained for safety reasons. Each pet will receive a special tag to wear on his or her collar, or keep as a remembrance.

During worship on Sept. 17 at 10:15 a.m. there will be a time of memorial and anyone who has lost a pet will be invited to come forward and light a candle in their memory. Pictures of the pet or a remembrance such as a collar, tag, favorite toy, etc. may be placed on the communion table during the service. The community is invited to both events.
