Bobbi Jo Blevins, 52, of Dorchester, Ill., died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023. She was born Feb. 28, 1971, in Staunton to Robert Kahl Jr. and Joanne Briskovich Kahl. She married Terry Blevins on Sept. 4, 1993, in Gillespie.

She was a buyer for Alton Steel. Bobbi was treasurer of Dorchester Township. She loved her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Blevins of Dorchester; children, Cory (Christina) Blevins of Benld, Logan (companion, Shawnee Bushrow) Blevins of Benld, Mya Blevins of Dorchester; four grandchildren, Eli, Avianah, Jadealyn, Brooklynn; father, Robert Kahl of Dorchester; mother, Joanne Kahl of Plainview; siblings, Staci (Greg) Blevins of Gillespie, Robbie Kahl of Mt. Olive, Jesse Kahl of Wilsonville; grandfather, Robert Kahl, Sr., of Woodburn; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Lonnie) Manalia of Plainview; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services are Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Burial will be at Tine Sawyer Cemetery.
