Ribfest cookout is Saturday

Staunton Ribfest will happen this Saturday, Aug. 26th, at the Firemen’s Park.

It promises to be an early and long day for the competitors/cookers since they are scheduled to be set-up at 6 a.m. Ribs will be distributed and team meetings will be held at 7 a.m. Judging is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. and awards will be announced at 4 p.m.

Prizes include $500 for first, $300 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd, and $150 for 4th. Fifth place wins a free entry into the 2024 Ribfest competition.
