Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

Friday, Aug. 18, is the final day anyone will be allowed to enter Staunton’s Ribfest cooking competition. The actual competition will be held Aug. 26th at the Firemen’s Park in Staunton.

Mayor Neuhaus shared the history of the Ribfest. The chamber ran it for two years and lost $10-12K each year. Then it moved to the City who put in $8-$10K per year in bands and other needs plus another $10K in ribs.
