Carlinville man caught from armed robbery

On Aug. 11, at 5:05 a.m. the Carlinville Police Department recieved a call that an employee from Casey's located at 425 West Main in Carlinville, had been robbed at gunpoint by a white male, wearing a mask, black hoodie, and dark pants After an investigation by the Carlinville Police Department and with the joint efforts of the Macoupin County Sheriff's Office and the Macoupin County State's Attorney's Office, on Aug. 12, at 3:20 p.m., a suspect was apprehended.
