It was a gloomy morning on Thursday, Aug. 3, for the Staunton High School's band camp. They had lost a day of practice on Wednesday, due to the rainy weather. The band was working on step-counting and formations during the early morning, then the group started drill practice. Energy and spirits were high and it was apparent that the band director would not allow the moist humidity to dampen the mood.
