Brian P. Banovz, 55, of rural Neoga, Ill., died July 20, 2023, at his residence. He was born Nov. 10, 1967, in Staunton, the son of Roger William Sr. and Joyce Lee (Dobrinich) Banovz. Brian married Debra "Debbie" K. Schlechte on Nov. 5, 1994, in Staunton.
Mr. Banovz was a service technician for Fire Extinguisher Sales And Service. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sigel. Brian enjoyed raising and training bloodhounds, hunting, and spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Banovz is survived by his wife, Debbie Banovz of Neoga; sons, Kelly (Ashley) Bryant of Shilo, Kurtis Bryant of Neoga; grandchildren, Kember Bryant, Kaden Bryant and Lucas Bryant; mother, Joyce Banovz of Staunton; brother, Roger Banovz Jr. (Carrie) of Carterville; sister, Sheila Tallman (Karl) of Bunker Hill. He was preceded in death by his father.
As per Brain's request cremation rites will be accorded.
