Last week, the Staunton Public Library had planned to host a wonderful Summer Reading Program Finale featuring the MAC Art Bus on Thursday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the band shelter on Pearl Street.

At the last minute, the library and the Mac cancelled the event due to poor air quality and extreme heat.. However, the Library Happenings copy had already gone to the Staunton Star-Times declaring how wonderful the event was.
