The Heritage Concert Band will begin their summer concert series in Staunton on Thursday, July 6.
The concerts will continue on the next three Thursdays – July 13, 20 and 27, at 7:30 p.m. each night. The annual children's concert will be performed on July 20. The concerts take place on Pearl Street behind the Staunton Pubic Library. Everyone is invited to attend all of the free concerts and enjoy the live music on these summer evenings.
Dr. Darryl Coan, professor of music at SIUE, is the band director. Band members include several Staunton High School students and community members.
