Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The June 1 meeting was called to order at 1 p.m. by president, Gerri Cook. There were 20 members present. The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were said. There were no visitors or new members.

Margaret Heimemeyer is in Barnes hospital in St. Louis for surgery on a broken leg. If anyone wishes to send a card, they can send it to her home for when she gets back. No other card requests were made.

Gerri reminded everyone that the yearly election will be on July 6 and to let an officer know if she or he would like to throw in their hat. The elections will be held at the Aug. 3 meeting....
