During Monday night’s city council meeting, the property at 104 E. Main Street and 108 E. Main Street was declared as surplus real property and authorized for sale at a minimum bid of $10,000. All the structures on the property must be demolished and removed by the winning bidder within 60 days of the bid award. Bids will be opened at the June 26 council

meeting.

The council received a letter of resignation from full-time police dispatcher Tammy Martin dated May 12, 2023. Martin will be retiring and her last day of employment will be May 26, 2023.
