Low-cost dog vaccination clinic for Macoupin residents

In celebration of their 40-year anniversary, Benld Adopt-A-Pet will hold a low-cost dog vaccination clinic for residents of Macoupin County only on May 20. It will be held at 213 W. Main Street in Mt. Olive from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or until there are no more vaccines). This clinic is for dogs only, and they will be offering DAPPi one-year and rabies one-year vaccinations at $4 each (cash only).

Please observe the following:

• Park in the lot on east side of 213 W. Main St., where you will be given a number and a registration form to complete (all forms must be filled out completely and must be legible).

• Please remain in your vehicle with your pet(s) until your number is called.

• All animals must be on a short, non-retractable leash and owners/handlers must control their animals at all times.

• Puppies should be kept off the ground at all times.

• As each person’s number is called they, along with their leashed pet, will be shown inside the building and their pet will then be vaccinated.

They will also be offering free engraved I.D. tags for pets at this event, and expect to have additional hand outs for the participants as well.

Anyone having questions or desiring more information about this event should call 217-835-2538.
