The Staunton Sportsman's Club 2023 Kids’ Fishing Derby will be held this Sunday, May 21, at the Staunton Sportsman’s Club.

Registration will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday with fishing from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Derby is open to kids age pre-k to 8th grade (five divisions). Rules are simple – live bait only and no artificial lures allowed.

At the close of fishing, there will be trophies and special prizes awarded. Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided. Adult supervision is required.
