Gillespie man sentenced to a decade in prison on meth delivery case

Macoupin County State's Attorney Jordan J. Garrison announced on Thursday, March 16, that Frank D. Ashmore, age 28, of Gillespie was sentenced by the Honorable April Troemper to 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offense of methamphetamine delivery, a class X felony. The defendant also received the maximum allowed sentence of 10 years for possession of ammunition by a felon and the maximum allowed sentence of five years for theft.
