U.S. Air Force Airman Drake A. DuFrain graduated from basic military training at JBSA-Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, on Feb. 23, 2023. Airman DuFrain was a member of the 331st Squadron, Band Flight 168 and achieved PT excellence status. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airman DuFrain is currently attending tech school at Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, Texas, where he’s receiving instruction and training on the B-52H Bomber aircraft and nuclear weapons.

Drake is the son of Mike and Beth DuFrain and is a 2022 graduate of Staunton High School.
