The Staunton PTO School of Rock fund- raiser, which was hosted last Saturday, Feb. 11, at Concordia Hall, raised around $5,000. The money raised will directly benefit the students in a multitude of ways including field trips, reward incentives, classroom funding, and playground improvements, just to name a few.
Community support for the event was outstanding. From early in the evening, Concordia Hall's parking lot was filled to capacity, and extra tables had to be brought out to accommodate attendees. Music start- ed at 6 p.m. with an acoustic performance by John Masinelli. Hashtag80 took the...
