Elbon Shrine Club enjoyed successful year

January 18, 2023

Members of Staunton's Elbon Shrine Club gather around the check representing their donation to St. Louis Shriners Hospital. The club donated $6,000 this year.

Elbon Shrine Club had a great 2022. With continued support from the local community and Ainad Temple they were able to make some significant donations back to the community and to the Shriners Hospital of St. Louis.

On Dec. 1, they held their annual Christmas party and made a donation of $6,000 to Shriners Hospital of St. Louis. They also made donations to multiple Staunton High School sports teams and a local Boy Scout for projects.

They also elected new officers for 2023, president will be Moe St. Ar- nault; vice president, Norme Kimme; secretary, Gary Crosslin; and treasurer, John Walker.

The club thanks the community for all of the support given to them, know- ing that they can't do anything without that support.

They are always looking for new

members. If interested contact them on their FaceBook page. Meetings are the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. and all are welcome to attend. We would also like to give a special thanks to Dave Casson 2022 Potentate for coming up and helping throughout the year.
