Senior Homestead renewal

The 2023 Senior Homestead Exemption (yellow cards) will soon be mailed to senior citizens in Olive Township (Madison County). This exemption deducts $5,000 from your assessment on owner occupied property, but it must be applied for every year. Olive Township Tax Assessor, Margie Lamore, will be available to help those seniors (age 65 or older) who do not receive a card or those who have questions about this exemption.
