This week at Duda Park

Christmas in the Park enjoyed its grand opening last week with the official lighting at Duda Park on Friday, Dec. 2.

This Saturday, Dec. 10, activities there continue. Santa will be in the gazebo greeting the kids and listening to all those Christmas wishes from 6 to 8 p.m. and the Staunton High School Choir will perform on the evening of Dec. 10.

Also, the fire pits for roasting marshmallows or making your favorite s’mores will be available.

The fun continues on Saturday, Dec. 17, when Santa returns to the gazebo from 6 to 8 p.m. to hear more Christmas wishes. Families are invited to make use of the fire pits and the Community Choir will be providing the music.

Or you can just sit and enjoy the beauty of the park. A big “thank you” goes to all who helped make it a reality.
