On Thursday, Oct. 20, the second meeting of the month was called to order by President Gerry Cook with 29 members present. The meeting started with the Lord's prayer and Pledge of Allegiance being said by all.

Everyone who had holiday attire received a free bingo card. There were four birthdays in October and we all sang Happy Birthday. Terry Tipler was a guest speaker who explained the state grant program on home improvement that qualified homeowners can apply for and handed out applications.
