Staunton Helping Hands Center prepares for the holidays

The SHHC is appreciative of the ongoing community support from donors and volunteers. Gears are shifting toward holiday preparedness. The Adopt a Family fundraiser for Thanksgiving has begun and donations will be received until Nov. 12 to help secure the fixings for turkey dinners for existing local pantry guests. A donation of $25 helps to cover the cost of turkey and side items for a local family. The SHHC can receive donations through Venmo @staunton helpinghands or at P.O. Box 111, Staunton IL 62088. Donations can also be received during pantry hours on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and...
