Two people in Worden are facing methamphetamine charges brought by the Illinois State Police in Madison County. Brett A. Foster, 37, and Heather N. Lara, 44, both living at the same address, are charged with methamphetamine trafficking, controlled substance trafficking, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, all Class 1 felonies.

Court documents show that on Oct. 3 Foster and Lara allegedly brought more than five grams of methamphetamine and more than one gram of fentanyl from Missouri into Illinois with the intent to deliver. Bail was set at $150,000 each.
