Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. Don’t miss the opportunity to buy those unique gifts and decorations to make your holidays special at the Gillespie United Methodist Church Craft Fair and Flea Market on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a huge event that will be held in the fellowship hall rain or shine.

There are over 20 booths with a variety of wares including Longaberger baskets, candles, Barbie clothing and accessories, handmade oversized Christmas stockings, jewelry, local honey, decorative ice skates, pecans, candies, Illinois Valley’s wooden outdoor ornaments, vintage items, Tastefully Simple, unique T-shirts, and the Red Dirt Road Girls.

While you shop, your children can enjoy the kids' games sponsored by the Gillespie Band Boosters. Sandwiches and desserts will also be available.
