Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The meeting on Sept. 1 was called to order. Members said the Lord’s Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. There were no visitors or new members. The minutes and treasurer’s reports from the previous meeting were read and approved. There were no card or prayer requests.

Toni Janus asked everyone attending to update their personal information on the membership roster. Dee Masinelli and Cheryl Moore received the attendance prizes and the silver pot prizes were won by Diana Newby and Joann Brakhane.

The meeting was adjourned and everyone played bingo called by Judy Hampton. The next meeting will be Sept. 15 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 225 S. Laurel Street in Staunton. The meeting starts at 1 p.m. and all seniors in the area are welcome to attend.
