• Michael J. Puccetti, 40, of Girard, faces felony charges of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery, as well as two felony charges of domestic battery, after allegedly striking his mother in the face, causing fractured nasal bones, and striking his father in the back of the head, on Saturday, June 18.

• Felifer F. Cipriano, 25, of Carlinville, faces a felony charge of aggravated battery after allegedly headbutting a peace officer in the face on Sunday, June 19.

• Tara C. Lente, 27, of Carlinville, faces a felony charge of retail theft after allegedly taking batteries from Ace Hardware in Carlinville on April 30.


• Samuel T. Julius, 33, of Staunton, faces a felony charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Jan. 23.

• Sherry A. Stelle, 64, of Virden, faces a felony charge of possession of meth on or about Thursday, June 23.

• Harold F. Bruley, 57, of Virden, faces a felony charge of possession of meth on or about Thursday, June 23.

• Michael J. Ross, 45, of Gillespie, faces a felony charge of aggravated arson after allegedly damaging a duplex building on West Maple Street in Gillespie on Tuesday, June 21.

• Alex L. Ivey, 32, of Staunton, faces 15 felony charges of child pornography on or about Thursday, June 23.

• Ryan T. Lindgens, 33, of Mt. Olive, was charged with resisting a peace officer after allegedly refusing to enter a squad car when commanded to do so and had to be forcibly placed into said vehicle on Sunday, June 19.

• Amanda C. Kirkland, 37, of Auburn, was charged with criminal trespass to real property on East Lewis Street in Palmyra on Tuesday, June 14.

• Dalton W. Whitlock, 29, of Medora, was charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly threatening to stab an individual in the neck while outside a residence on North Main Street in Medora on or about Tuesday, June 21.

• Billy R. Brumberlow, 29, of St. Louis, Mo., was cited for driving under the influence at 3:19 a.m. Sunday, June 19, on I-55 southbound.

• Jeffery L. Blain, 58, of Virden, was ticketed for driving under the influence at 10:07 p.m. Sunday, June 19, on Rt. 4 in Virden.
