LaDonna Sue Bangert, 85, of Staunton, Ill., died on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Heritage Health in Staunton. She was born on, Jan. 20, 1937, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Walter and Frances (Lord) Daniel.

LaDonna was a homemaker who also loved to sew and do crafting.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen (Larry) Ziegler of Staunton, Kathy (Phil) Richter of Shiloh; four Sons, Jim (Linda) McDowell of Staunton, Joe McDowell of Sawyerville, Jon (Donna) McDowell of Staunton, Michael Wofford of Staunton; 15 grandchildren, Jennie (Rob) Wilson, Stephanie (Corey) Ziegler, Josh (Angela) Ziegler, Keith (Cheryl) Johnson, Chris (Kara) Johnson, Scott (Jodie) McDowell, Andrew (Jessie) McDowell, Ashley (Mike) Sawyers, Erin (James) Wheeler, Xander McDowell, Anna McDowell, Robbie Gathard, Abby Gathard, Adam Gathard, Mackenzie Wofford; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley (Dave) Scheyer. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Elmore "Ray" Robbins; three husbands, Garland McDowell, Bobby Wofford, and Ervin "Ike" Bangert; a sister in infancy, Peggy Jean Daniel; and son-in-law, Mike Johnson.

A public visitation service was held on Saturday, April 2, at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston, followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
