Eric and Rebecca Bohlen of rural Staunton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at New Hope Church in Paris, Ill., on Dec. 18, 1971.

They are the parents of seven children: Patricia, Dennis (Amy), Erik (Sandra), Ryan, Andria (Mark), Sarah (Kyle), and Drue (Allissa). Grandchildren are David (Kira), Reese, Mark, Riley, Anna and Madison.

An open house for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18. Feel free to drop by between 2 and 4 p.m. at their home. Cards and well wishes will be appreciated.
