During Monday night’s city council meeting, City Clerk Dennis Steigemeier announced that he and City Treasurer Cindy Pirok will be attending a workshop sponsored by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity on Oct. 18 in Springfield. This is an Administrator's Workshop for Community Development Block Grant Programs. The city is applying for a grant, and the workshop is a requirement for Grant Administrators to attend the workshop.
