Carson Rantanen earns a spot in the championships with his first-place finish in the 100m dash and 4x100m relay.
Carson Rantanen, son of Mark and Angela Rantanen of Staunton, won 1st place in the 100m dash for Greenville College with a time of 10.46. Carson was also part of the winning 4x100 relay team. He is headed to Rochester, N.Y., this weekend to compete in the NCAA Div III Championship. Carson will compete in the 100m and 4x100m.
