Jim Moultrie brought us this parade picture. It was taken by his mother on Memorial Day in 1958.

While we can't identify the marchers, the business sign for Ficker & Ficker Food Market is easily identified. Just in case you don't remember where it was – an old City Directory tells us the address was 229 West Main Street. That is the present location of Cisler & Associates Real Estate, Inc.

As a matter of curiosity – the phone number listed for Ficker & Ficker was 314 – no prefix – no letters – just 314. The phone number for Cisler today is a little longer!
