The Staunton High School baseball team played North Mac on May 8th, losing 6- 9.

The Bulldogs played Greenfield/Northwestern on May 10. Staunton won this game, scoring 1 run in the 5th inning and 3 in the 6th while holding Greenfield scoreless to take the 4-0 win.
On May 11, Staunton lost to Carlinville 5-15.

The loss to Carlinville made the Bulldog’s season record 10-14.They were 2-7 in conference play.
There are just three games left on their 2023 schedule. They were to play Carrollton at 10 a.m. on May 13 and play PortaAshland-Chandlerville (Petersburg) at noon on May 13. Their last scheduled game is at home vs. East Alton/Wood River on May 15.
