Bremer Sanctuary's spring bird hike on Saturday, April 8, will focus on resident birds along with the early arrival of several species of migratory birds. Red-headed woodpeckers, blue jays, tufted titmouse, northern cardinals and eastern bluebirds will be present. Nest box checks will be explained and demonstrated.

The summer hike will focus on the migrating species: warblers, vireos, tanagers, sparrows along with all the resident birds. Good chances for viewing of indigo bunting, eastern towhee, summer tanager and common yellowthroat are possible.
