The Jan. 19 meeting started at 1 p.m. with the president Gerry Cook bringing the meeting to order. There were 29 members attending. The Lord's Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance were said. The attendance prizes were won by Doris Thomas and Mary Lyons. Members sang Happy Birthday to the five members whose birthdays are in January. The meeting was then adjourned and everyone enjoyed playing bingo which was called by Leslie Vannoy, regional administrator for The Glenwood Assisted Living facilities.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ located at 225 S. Laurel Street in Staunton. All seniors in the area are welcome to join us.
