St. Francis Foundation receives $7,500 matching gift from Victory Lane Ford to support St. Clare Center Food Pantry

Victory Lane Ford recently presented the St. Clare Center Food Pantry in Litchfield with a check for $7,500. The check was a matching gift that represented every dollar donated up to $7,500 through Dec. 31. With the matching gift, a donation total of $18,440 was realized. Victory Lane Ford recently presented the St. Clare Center Food Pantry in Litchfield with a check for $7,500. The check was a matching gift that represented every dollar donated up to $7,500 through Dec. 31. With the gift from Victory Lane, a donation total of $18,440 was realized.

Gene Hebenstreit, owner of Victory Lane Ford, stated, "We were thrilled with the response to this challenge and I'm so pleased that people saw the need in anticipation of the holiday season and responded so generously."

Paula Endress, director of philanthropy for HSHS St. Francis Hospital, added, "We are most appreciative to Victory Lane Ford for this generous challenge grant which enabled donors to double the value of their contribution. Thank you to all who contributed to help those less fortunate in our community."

The St. Clare Center Food Pantry is located at 603 N. Madison Street in Litchfield and is a ministry of HSHS St. Francis Hospital. The pantry serves residents of Montgomery and Macoupin counties. For further information about the pantry, call 217-324-2800.
