Adam C. Orscheln, 33, of Worden, was charged last week with aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony, and resisting arrest. Court documents show that on Dec. 29 Orscheln allegedly struck Hamel Police Chief Terry Buhs multiple times in the face and head and resisted Worden Police Chief Barbara Wheat’s attempt to place him under arrest, causing injury to her. Bail was set at $100,000. The case was presented by the Worden Police Department.
