The SHS team members are (L to R) Lily Dothager, Tyler Melchert, Karleigh Ward, Brady Seelbach, Ava Fernandez, Carson Buffington, Jacob Wineburner, Logan Miersch, Tyler Bequette, Blake Moore, Mason Volentine, Thomas Ogata, Ava Roller, Lillian Burke.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, the Staunton Scholastic Bowl team participated in the Pretzel Invitational Tournament.
The 20 teams that participated in the tournament were Dunlap A and B, Jacksonville, Lincoln A and B, Quincy A and B, Southwestern A and B, Auburn, Beardstown, Macomb A, B and C, Porta, Pleasant Plains, New Berlin, South County, and Quincy Notre Dame.
Staunton finished the tournament with wins against South County, Macomb C, New Berlin, Quincy Notre Dame, and Macomb A. Staunton lost to Jacksonville and Dunlap A. Blake Moore was recognized as 7th place All Tournament.
