Girl Scout mapping Staunton City Cemetery for Gold Award Project

Staunton High School senior Maia Dothager, a Girl Scout in Troop 6106, will be teaching any interested volunteers how to use the Find a Grave app to map graves at the Staunton City Cemetery, just off W. Pearl Street, on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 10:30 a.m.

This activity is part of Dothager's Girl Scout Gold Award project. The Gold Award is Girl Scouts' most prestigious designation. The award recognizes girls in grades nine through 12 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through intensive, multi-year projects that have sustainable impact in the community and beyond.
