Mary Evelyn Anglin, 68, of Benld, Ill., died at her residence on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. She was born March 16, 1954, in East St. Louis, to Clarence Eveart and Minnie Lee Scholes. She married William E. Anglin, and he preceded her in death.

She was a CNA. Mary enjoyed collecting knickknacks and matchbox cars. She enjoyed Elvis, NCIS, CSI and mysteries. Mary enjoyed being with her family.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Kay Anglin, William (Courtney) Anglin; and grandchild, Jasmine Anglin. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters; and one brother.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
