PFC Haileigh Marie Lenger enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and has completed basic training and AIT (Advanced Individual Training) specializing in Bridge Crew Member Engineering at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., on Sept. 23, 2022. She plans to attend SIUE majoring in electrical engineering in the spring of 2023.

Haileigh is the daughter of Ryan and Natasha Lenger of Brighton, granddaughter of Denny Lenger of Livingston, Diane (Smith) and Kent Tallyn of St. Louis, Mo., and Richard and Debra Rowlee of Brighton.
