The SHS cross country team season ended sooner than they were hoping for at the ISHA Class 1A Cross Country Regional meet at Wesclin High School on Saturday, Oct. 22. The men's team placed 10th and the women's team placed 11th.

The two senior runners, Troy Albertino and Lexi Pfeiffer, finished their high school cross country careers as the lead runners on their respective teams. Troy finished 35th of 115, with a time of 18:12.9, and Lexi finished 48th of 100, with a time of 23:33.7.
