The Staunton Chamber of Commerce has been busy making plans and organizing their first ever Chili Cook-off. And it all happens this Saturday, Oct. 22, at Duda Park in Staunton.

The park will be open at 8 a.m. for cookers to set up their booth/cooking station, etc. You must set up our own tent and provide your own supplies. Coolers and pots will be inspected upon arrival to ensure no pre-cooked food comes into the event.

There will be a cooks’ meeting at 8:45 a.m. and cooking begins at 9 a.m. All chili must be cooked from scratch on-site the day of the cook-off.
